Polliwogs Child Care takes a fresh approach to child care and preschool in a warm but state-of-the-art, secure facility. Every morning, we start off the day by sitting on the rug for circle time. We name the day of the week, have story time, immerse ourselves in our curriculum, and get creative with arts and crafts.

 

In addition to our engaging daily activities, we continually invite special visitors who drop by to say hello. Visitors such as the Peoria Fire Department, Just Kidz Dentistry, The American Red Cross, Santa Claus, Communication Junction, The Zoo Lady, and more, always have fun with our preschoolers! 

 

The main goal of our preschool program is for children to learn all the necessary skills to succeed both academically and socially in kindergarten and beyond. Ms. Theresa, the dedicated lead teacher, has over 40 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. From learning about animals to exploring real musical instruments, our kids are learning while at play!  We teach them math, science, social studies, language lessons and more. Our curriculum is designed to promote children's increasing confidence and independence, while meeting the challenges of their curiosity, energy, and endless enthusiasm. Each day is filled with fun and excitement!
